Post subject: Global Rs Vs. Peacefull
PostPosted: Tue Oct 06, 2009 9:05 pm

Hello! I'm from Global Rs, and we are challenging Peacefull to a skill war. Our community will vote on a skill for us to compete in. Whichever community/clan has the most xp in that skill wins.

Please note that Global Rs is not a very large community, however we are around the same size. I would like this confirmed by a staff member by private message.

-GRS Annual Skill War Coordinator.

How come you get to pick the skill? Ussually wars consist of the non buyable skills.

Yes, I believe that's a bit unfair.

We usually only do skillwars for non-buyable stats such as:
- Woodcutting
- Fishing
- Mining
- Thieving
- Hunter
- Agility
- Runecrafting (exception)

Also, providing a link to your clan's forum would be very helpful so that we can contact you.

As seen from that topic, I can see you guys do a "skill competition" where only 1 skill is selected (skillwar - 1 participant for each skill). That is fine, but you'll need to select from the above skills.

Ok, I've been discussing this with Kunfuz/Whisper and a few points that got brought up:

  • Anyone can participate
  • First come, first serve basis
  • ONLY join if you're serious about this
  • The maximum amount of users that can join is 20

Global RS voted for Fishing to be in the Skill war, what does Peacefull have to say on this?

The starting date of this event will be [b]October 16, 2009. Does anyone disagree?

Also, you will need a roster of participants, so you will know who's exp to total together.

As you said anyone can participate, is there any regulations in what ways of fishing are allowed / arn't allowed in the competition such as monkfish. If it is anything goes I will participate.

Ok, so this is starting on the 16th, which gives us 6 days to prepare and get everyone who wants to join onto the list. The skill is Fishing. One other note, Global RS asked if we could change to 15 people instead of 20, so there is only enough space for 15 now.

Fishing participants:

  1. 18 Oz
  2. Xrillium
  3. Roi Tan
  4. 13 8k
  5. WickedCj
  6. Maahesz

I hate fishing. :P

Why don't we choose 3 non buyables and have 15 people from Pcfl split up into 3 of those skills.

This is our first skill war, so that would cause to much change and confusion.
