But I'd vote yes if you don't gain ANY more levels in a combat stat, including prayer, magic, defense etc.

44 combat is bad enough, if you gain more that shows little commitment to the clan, which is why the alumni group was added. If you plan on gaining more combat levels, I would vote no.

If you join and remain pure of new combat levels for the required time to get alumni (is it 2 months? ...Something like that), I would say it'd be ok.

Again, I'm just a guest, and that's my personal view :)

In the thread, Bounce says she will be working on 99 Mage and Prayer as a "next year" goal so I don't think she'll be doing anymore combat for awhile.

Yea, but I wasn't sure if he meant a goal BEFORE next year or a goal BEGINNING next year ;)

Amazing stats!! :D :D

For the record I have nothing against you or anything but,
I guess I say no to exception, sorry.

There aren't many exceptions and if there were too many exceptions people would try joining as higher and higher level accounts. I feel that it wouldn't be so good and destroy some of the point of this clan.

My point is, when are people actually considered to be a skiller which qualify for the exception?

Zzz said that people must be totally pure to qualify the exception rule, meaning a skiller with 10 attack and 70 defence wouldn't qualify.

You got magic for infinity but would someone with 10 attack and 70 defence say "I only got attack for the shiney black scimitar" then?

Once again, sorry.

PS - Overlooked that, sorry...I won't try to justify why I called you 'he'...I'll just say sorry and that it won't happen again ;)

i say there should be a new rule brought in about *exceptions* they cant be over a certain combat lvl, for example lvl 40 and they have to have amazing skiller lvls, just a thought

Well...yea...but then what if someone had 99 hits, 99 pray, and 99 defence, you'd be combat 62, yet inable to hurt a fly :)

I personally believe an equation should be made to get in, such as exp compared with damaging combat stats (attack, strength, range, mage) somehow = yes or no and have no exceptions...Idk...

i guess the easier way would just be the current way, not letting exceptions in, but my answer is still yes, this isn't my opinion just a fact that it's easier

Zzz, after having to refuse keeping me back in december, said to me, "If you continue skilling the way you say and you prove you won't gain any combat levels, you will be considered for an exception."

Well, i've done just what i said i would then (minus the 99 prayer) and i haven't gained a combat level in 3 months. The only training was planning on getting 80 prayer and stopping there (still would be a 44 btw, clac it if you want) But that's stopped now and i've settled for 77.

another side note, my 50 mage no longer appears on the highscores. That's one other bonus for now. It would stay that way for the next couple of months, especially if i get re admitted.

I was honestly in the blind about the whole Alumni rule, and if i had known, i WOULD have held out for it. But that being behind us, and unchangeable, what is changeable is the future. I don't plan on starting anything combat wise for a good long time. Even if i got the urge to shoot for mage, i'd resist it.

If you didn't notice the massive stock of logs in my bank, i intend on 99 firemaking. 72 now, 25k willos and 15k maples in bank (enough for about 92, have d wc axe to get the rest)

With that, that's all i have to say for this post

Just got a genie spinning flax. Only 3 more till 33. Also, i did not use my mage to train slayer. If i had, my hp would be waaay up, like 25-30. I did mage by fail body spells and teles.

Hp only came from getting 25 def, and a little with quest related mishaps (6 att 4 str, one str level from pyramid plunder in there too)

One bonus, the game considers me a mage, so those nasty levels don't affect my combat, so i'll be 44 for quite a long while.

ONe thing different, not all my combat is attributed to mage, 10 of it is prayer levels, another 6 goes to def, and about 2 from the hp def brought in. Put that into your minds as well.

Another note, for the time i'd be in before moved to alumni, my mage would NOT appear in the highscores.

""However, if you get 99 prayer and continue skilling like you say you will without training any more combat skills, we might be able to consider letting you join again in the future. We are able to consider people with exceptional skills even if they are a bit over lvl 30, but only if the account clearly is a non combat character.""

Those are zzzamoraks exact words. Unfortunately, i can't afford 99 prayer at this time. If i tried to get it, i'd have no funds left to get any other levels whatsoever. You can see my pleight here...
