Honored Member and Elite Member Thread

Honored Member: A rank designed for the members who have been with the clan for awhile, to be honored for being active on the forums and/or in-game. Those who have this rank are the advice-givers, the old-time players who have faithfully remained in our clan through thick and thin. They are also kind, courteous individuals who have maintained a respect for clan rules and clan members alike.



Requirements:
-Must have been in the clan for at least 2 years
-Must have been relatively active since joining
-Must be active, helpful, caring, friendly, and have a fairly clean clan record
-Must have the Member or Alumni ranks

Elite Member: A rank designed for the elitist low level skillers of the clan, F2P and P2P alike. Members of this rank have either a very high Total Level or Total Experience (or both) for their level and category. These are the hard-working, motivated skillers that serve as role models and friends to those new to skilling, and those working their way up the ranks.



Requirements:
100 million total experience or 1300 total.
-Must have the Member rank.
-Must be 30 Combat or lower.

Honored and Elite Member FAQ:

Q: What if I quit the clan and then came back but haven't been in the clan for 2 years since quitting, do I still get to be an Honored Member with the time I was in before plus since then?
A: The date used for the "2 year" part of the Honored Member requirement goes from when you were accepted into the clan last, so any previous time in the clan will not be counted.

Q: Can I get the Elite Member rank if I meet the F2P requirement but have Membership?
A: No, you must be completely F2P, if you subscribe at any time, regardless of what skills you train, you will fall under the P2P category. No exceptions, sorry.

Q: What are the advantages to these ranks?
A: There are no new forums or special moderator privileges for either rank, but just having them shows your dedication and commitment to the clan or skilling. I guess a fair amount of pride and satisfaction is also achieved in attaining these dignified ranks.

Q: What if I meet the requirements of both ranks?
A: If by chance you meet the requirements for both ranks, you may select one of them and that will be your "default rank." You can also choose to remain as a normal Member if you wish. These ranks are entirely optional. Note that to avoid confusion you can only request your rank being changed once per month (and we hope it occurs less often than that).

Q: What about CC Mods and the rest of the Staff?
A: The full staff will keep their present ranks to avoid confusion. Ironically, a large portion of them do meet the requirements for at least one of these new ranks.

Q: How come Elite Members is Members only?
A: Alumni have combat as an added advantage, so logically, we're only opening the rank to Members.

Q: How will you find out in the future who gets these ranks?
A: For Honored Members, we will be tracking closely who has joined when, and when a user hits the 2 year mark, their name will go into consideration. If they are seen to have been active, helpful, and respectful of rules and peers, they will automatically receive the rank. For Elite Members, see Submissions below.

Q: Why did you make these ranks?
A: We felt that they would make a good addition to the clan and provide recognition to those deserving of it, whether they are a long-time member or are hard-core skillers.

Q: What was the idea behind the userbars/colors?
A: Englishbear made the userbars in secret a long time ago. Thank him when you next see him! Purple for Honored Member, as well as the throne were meant to symbolize royalty, honor, and pride. The stat bar on the Elite Member userbar signifies high stats, and the light blue was made to sort of match the blue bar on the icon.

What if an Elite Member gains combat or an F2P Elite Member get P2P? Or if an Elite Member quits the clan and then rejoins?
A: If an Elite Member gains combat, their rank will be removed and replaced with normal "Member" status. And F2P Elite Member that suddenly goes P2P will have their rank removed (unless they meet the Total Experience requirement). If either quits, their account will be deleted so obviously the ranks will be removed. If a former Elite Member rejoins, they will receive their rank back (note that there is a 5 months stand down waiting period required between quitting and rejoining).

A: Yes! While we are proud of these ranks, there is always room for improvement. Tell us your ideas, we'll be happy to listen!

This thread is also a submissions thread for Elite Members. Any Members wishing to receive this rank can post here when they reach the requirements. Furthermore, there is a chance we may have forgotten to add a few Members to this prestigious rank, so feel free to post any names we may have left out. Remember to check the requirements first!

Also, don't forget Honored Members are hand-selected, so no submissions for this rank will be accepted at any time.
