besides best way for him to meet clan members and to help is when he's in the clan

I have no problem with him being a clan friend. We have plenty of clan friends so why shouldn't he be one as well. Also, he as shown much support to all the lvl 3's that he knows, like final counts and me and other fellow lvl 3's in our clan. He is also very respectful and helpful among his companions. So for me, it's final for me I'd say yes for him being a clan friend.

most of the current clan friends have been friends of clan members for a long time before applies it sounds like he is only a friend of finals

I think he needs to help out around first and people get to know him then he can join and hes a skiller at heart.

I think we're getting too many clan friends allready, and it doesn't make sense to make someone a clan friend when he's just a single members friend.
