Not that i've been here that long, but when quick's thread was locked, zzzamorak pointed out that he had gotten 3 or 4 chances....

Edit : and most people even supported letting him back in, so why not do the same for george?

We let him in the first time, and yea he was cool. But within 2 days he quit. He is just to unstable, the same thing will happen again if we let him in again.

You do know that people can be friendly when they see you in game, yet still hold the opinion that you shouldn't be in the clan.

People's opinions of who should be in the clan or not ideally should be based on what is good for the clan, not on who they are friends with.

I have a friend in-game who is consistently breaking a rule (advertising his clan site), and has had several characters permabanned for it. He has a level 3 skiller who would be eligible to join the clan. Even though he's a friend of mine, I've never suggested to him that he join this clan due to his consistent rule-breaking and his inability to understand why RS has a rule about advertising.

I've never suggested he join this clan (even though he's a friend), not because I'm two-faced, but because I realise he wouldn't be good for the clan.

Don't be so quick to accuse people of being two-faced. If people don't think you should be in the clan, it's not necessarily because they don't like you. It could be because they think you shouldn't be in the clan - even if they do like you.

Please note I am not stating my opinion on your application here. I haven't been back long enough to have formed an opinion.

Well, i don't see the point in letting a person who as been here longer, pass by the rules. If you let one person have a second chance, the other person deserves it too, no matter how uncaring the other clan members feel towards him, and no matter how small a time he has been in the clan.

Either way, i hope Zzz lets him back in.
