Ususally I agree with you No Cb Skils, but I think that what you are posting now is alittle untrue, posted in anger/agrivation, and will not help you in the long term..But maybe it's not fair that we get into a whole new Flame War on an application..I don't think Yummy-Lover made this thread for that purpose. :?

Theone428, Harpoon-Of-I, and Glory Mufc, seriously, shut up.

In every one of the applications you come in and make one line posts, either "Welcome to Peacefull" or something like "No." in this application. You're basically what most would call spammers. One line posts; most of the time.

Yea, who the HELL are you to make random accusations? Considering this is the first time I have EVER posted a single word post on an application. And the reason is I am getting tired of all these skillers with just Cooking/Fletching exp. Skilla Holic said that his account was started only a week ago. So how can you afford to buy all the materials for 92 Cooking if you have been only playing for a week and have NO other higher stats.

Usually I am nice and say the welcome message: "Welcome to Clan Peacefull! Nice *insert stat here*. I usually NEVER post a single line on an application. And if I do it is either because I am short on time, or I am on a laptop with dial up (like I am now).

You are just arguing for the sake of arguing when you have no proof to back up your statement. Next time you attempt to post random slander about people, make sure you actually have the material to back it up.

NO, I think it is sort of obvious you drop trader if you have 92 cooking after only a week of playing according to one of the rules peacefull is against rule breaking so on that basis I don't think you should be allowed to join...

And then you come in these applications and act as if you deserve to have any say in what happens. The requirements are quite boldly posted. 7 million experience overall and 3-30 combat. You're whining just pisses me off; if you want to whine, go bug the admins! They're the ones who made the damn rule! It's not the player's fault at all that you don't like cooking, firemaking, and fletching, it's your own.

You may argue that the admins are working to change the rule, but guess what? They haven't. It may be changed in the future, but it is - as is - right now.

Let me post a topic here:

Zzzamorak wrote:
Our minimum requirements have been increased to 7 mil exp. You still need to be combat level 3-30 to join the clan.

The following applicants had reached the old requirements at the time of the increase, but had not yet created an account that could be activated. These people will be allowed to join the clan under the old requirements of 2 mil exp:

Zach Is Gr8
Birdspoo2
Bahamunet
I G0t Ski11z

Well according to that, one could've (in the past) gotten in with even 2M experience! Woah, since these 4 people posted their applications according to the requirements - meaning not according to the members, they were eligible.

Now please, lets follow the rules and let him in.

lets follow the rules? We all have a say of who comes in here. If someone has a reason for someone to be banned, or not accepted it's possible they will not be allowed in.

This is getting annoying as hell. Everyone that applies lately has either one stat or all buyable. Granted, the requirements are what they are at the moment that doesn't change that people are obvious drop traders.

No cb skils, maybe you don't mind a clan full of skillers with only buyable skills, too much cash, and no stats that reflect true effort, but some of us do. Try meeting the requirement before complaining about how the clan works and telling off clan members.

I lied.

Well, I knew I'd regret it for the most part, and I am, so I'd like to apologize for the way I said everything first of all.

But just to make my point in a more...eh...civil, manor:

Here are the clan requirements: (as said before)
Zzzamorak wrote:
This clan is for people who chose not to train combat, but concentrate on leveling skills instead.

Requirements to join the clan are as follows:

1) combat level 3-30, and
2) 7 mil total exp

Notice that we have a reverse combat level requirement. You can't join if your combat level is higher than 30.

Please fill out the application form found here to apply.

And nowhere in there does it say anything like "must be approved of by the other clan members." I'm not saying that you shouldn't have any say; I'm pointing out that (in theory) you don't. And until you're told you do, I see no reason to put down an application because of buyable stats.

Now for a few personal replies to the fans of my post: :? (Try not to take any more offence, I'll only use facts, not assumptions. And I'm not trying to flame anymore, I'm over that.)

(I'm not going to quote, my post will be much too long.)

@ Theone428

Looking back at you're first 2 pages of (recent) posts, you're generally right, most of the time you welcome people, but you do have 3 instances of saying "no" one way or another to an application, I'd just like to point that out. But for the most part, you're right, sorry.

@ D5a5n5i5e5l5

As I may be a guest, I'm not dumb, I know just as much as everyone else when it comes to an applicant or application. You may have more experiences in the clan, but I don't give much to that to tell the truth. And realistically, you don't have say as to who gets in. I guess I accidentally sealed this application against what I just said, but reading the rules, nothing says anyone can't get into the clan unless they broke a rule via admitting or proof, or unless they don't have 7M exp, and until that is changed, I think that should be what really counts.

@ kyaide

Heh, I have. If you don't remember "Nivel 3," here's a pic:

Yea yea yea, I got in with cooking, I know, but look at my other stats. Not to shabby if I do say so myself, definately not terrible for F2P. He was banned for breaking rule #12 (Buying/Selling in-game items/gold) when a friend gave me 4M from his skiller, both of us were banned. My friend's RSN is now "No Cb Skilz" and we skill together, but no more donations between us.

And I'd like you to realize that the reason these people are trying to get high cooking/fletching/firemaking/whatever stats that are easy to get is to JOIN clan Peacefull. After they join there is much reason for improvement in other areas, and no real reason to go beyond level 99 cooking or fletching, so they'd be forced to train another skill. Nobody will train cooking or fletching forever...or I wouldn't think so...I think that you're all too hard on new applicants. They want to join for fellowship and knowledge, not just to piss you off.

As I said before, I'm sorry for flaming. Seriously. I was a bit out of my mind and mad for various reasons and I wasn't in the mood to see someone else being pulled down. :?

I understand people gaining xp in skills such as cooking and fletching to get into Peacefull faster, but if you look at their stats there's no way to account for that much money in so little time. Even merchanting takes a few days, and a lot of these people have accounts that are a couple weeks old, barely long enough to even train the skill to that level let alone make the cash to buy it.

Well, I see your point but here, let me tell you how I got my money on my present account, No Cb Skils (1.2M in a day) . First, you do something easy, for instance woodcutting, or picking flax (P2P). Then you can:

a. Buy willows at a general store for 16gp ea, and sell 30-35 each, double profit

b. Buy water runes from the shop for an average of 10gp ea and sell 30gp ea, 3x profit

c. Buy vials of water 15gp ea (aswell as balls of wool, they're there aswell) and sell for 300gp (aswell as 300gp) each. an insurmountable profit. (P2P)

Store merchanting is very easy, efficient, and requires no skills what-so-ever.

Welcome to Peacefull :) I changed your username to "Yummy Lover".

And for the people who talks of drop-trading, I usually get 2 mil gp in a day whenever I create a new character for some odd reason. That's more than enough to get 99 cooking. If you know what you're doing there's no need of drop-trading.
